Details of accommodation:

Pinethwaite offers a range of accommodation, each fully described on its own page. They are equipped to 3 Star standard or above, for the number stated, which may not be exceeded unless agreed by us at the time of booking and entered on the booking form. Each has:

Comfortable seating with television, dining table and chairs.

All kitchens have full electric cooker, microwave and fridge.

All beds have mattress cover, duvet and two pillows per person, bed linen is provided.

Electric water heater, heating provided by night storage heaters, supplemented by electric heaters ( meter reading).

Birch cottage has an open fire.

Baskets of Logs and 10 kg. bags of coal can be delivered to your door as required.

Each has tourist information, natural history books and novels.

Travel Cot (please order).

Squirrels and deer don't like dogs so No Pets

Garden furniture, Private Parking, Natural water supply which is filtered and treated by ultra violet light.

All of our accommodation is private and completely self contained.

Wildlife. Although our visitors can expect to see roe deer, red squirrels
and a wide selection of birdlife and mammals, they are completely wild and we
cannot guarantee their appearance.

Extra costs over the prices quoted:

Electricity is charged at cost, by meter reading.

Logs by the net and coal in 10 kg bag as required.

Electricity Charges
               

Agencies usually include the cost of electricity and fuel in the rental.   
They calculate at the maximum rate possible and add  this to the cost of your accommodation, no matter how little you use.
We and most owner managers think that the fairest ( and greenest ) method is to charge our visitors, via meter readings, the cost price of what they have consumed.
